| Synopsis | The sovereign calls all his knights to battle against a fearsome dragon, who has laid waste whole districts and is striking terror into the hearts of the population. The sovereign promises to grant a wish to the knight, who succeeds in conquering the dragon. Trenk is hell-bent on tackling this challenge because he sees it as an opportunity of freeing his family from their servitude much sooner than he had originally hoped. And so he bravely sets off to fight the fire-breathing beast, together with his new-found friends, Thekla, the daughter of Knight Hans, Momme Mumm, a young travelling entertainer and his faithful Piggeldy.
